Today has just been fantastic. Even after being thrown in a mud hole by Martin and Cody, thrown in a sink and almost having my head dunked inot a bucket of defrosting chicks by Hardus, it’s been a good day. Jan, who formally was Yan until I learned how to actually spell his name, took us to take pictures with Shinandi the cheetah.
Of course no day is complete without some sort of clumsiness on my part. Today’s episode includes me backing up into an electric fence and being shocked by all three wires. Great stuff. I helped some of the staff withh their jobs since I had some extra time. Helped hardus feed his cheetahs and Laura with her honey badgers Honey and Pip. As a reward we went to see Emma’s baby serval.
No clouds, a pitch black sky and bright stars sprinkled all over the heavens. Add a light, cool breeze and the drive to dinner was amazing. I’m such a sucker for a beautiful night sky and tonight it looked as if streaks of cosmic dust littered it.
